Browser Notification FAQ

1. Why don’t I see notifications?

   Please ensure you have enabled both browser notifications and system notifications. Also, if you have “Do not disturb” on at the time of your reminder, Quimby will respect the setting and not show you the notification at that time.

2. How to enable browser notifications?

   You can enable browser notifications by clicking on the lock sign next to the URL and toggling the notifications on.

You can also check the status and enable browser notifications by going to Profile tab in Quimby, if you haven’t blocked notifications previously.

3. How to enable system/ desktop notifications?

In Mac, go to your System Preferences -> Notifications and Focus settings and click “Allow Notifications”

In Windows, go to your System -> Notifications settings and ensure your “Notifications” and “Google chrome” are toggled on, and “Do not disturb” is toggled off.
